Urban Indigenous Theatre and Red Rover Entertainment are honored to bring you the professional premiere of:

by Governor General’s Award winner Ian Ross.

This intimate, poignant tale is a heartfelt journey of humour and courage as one family struggles to cope with the decline of their Elder and patriarch.  As he drifts between present and past, secrets are revealed and the family is given a glimpse through the veil of silence that plagues our Residential School Survivors…and into the true history of their father and family.

Urban Indigenous Theatre and Red Rover Entertainment are equally proud to present a play for the child in all of us:

The Dora Mavor Moore award nominated

By Columpa C. Bobb and Marion Devries

Originally commissioned by Toronto’s Young People’s Theatre, this play interprets a traditional tale of bravery, friendship and the power of following your dreams. We tag along with two friends as they dare to leave the comfort of their small mouse village and journey across the awesome landscape of our country. Along the way they will learn the value of sacrifice and the power of embracing their own inner courage.
